Please Eat Organic No Pobre TV. In the summer of 1970, a trio of wayward hippies slip over the Canadian border to dodge the draft, setting up a roadside fruit stand to make some cash as they go. Trouble soon comes their way when they cross paths with a family of fundamentalist farmers who don’t take kindly to the interlopers. What unfolds next explores the timeless rifts between younger and older generations as the sweltering heat ratchets up the tension.
